Why You’ll Love Creamy Whipped Feta Dip
Easy to make – This creamy dip is truly effortless to make. Just add the ingredients to the bowl of a food processor and puree until it’s smooth and creamy.
Customizable toppings – Feta dip is a blank slate for toppings. Try topping it with dukkah, chopped pistachios, red pepper flakes and a drizzle of honey, crumbled feta and fresh chopped herbs, or chopped sun dried tomatoes.
Healthy appetizer – If you’re looking for something lighter, full of protein, and tastes great, this creamy feta dip is perfect! Greek yogurt and feta make it a higher protein dip compared to other creamy dips.

Ingredients Notes
Feta – Use a block of feta, not pre-crumbled.
Greek yogurt – Low fat or whole milk Greek yogurt will give you the richest flavor and creamiest consistency.
Olive oil – Extra virgin olive oil give the dip a rich luscious flavor and consistency.
Dried dill and oregano – The dried Mediterranean herbs add great flavor.
Garlic powder – If you don’t like the sharp taste of raw garlic, use garlic powder. If you want to use fresh garlic, use 1/4 teaspoon grated or minced.
Lemon – Fresh lemon juice. Don’t use bottled lemon juice, please.

How to Make Whipped Feta Dip
Making this dip couldn’t be easier! Add all of the ingredients to the bowl of a food processor and turn it on. Blitz it until it’s smooth and creamy.

You’ll need to scrape down the sides of the bowl 1-2 times to ensure everything is combined. Taste it for seasoning and then pour it into a serving bowl. So easy!
Recipe Tip
Use good quality creamy feta from a block. Pre-crumbled feta is much drier and contain anti-caking agents that will prevent the dip from getting smooth and creamy. I often use and recommend Valbreso Feta, which is a sheep’s milk feta.
Ways to Serve Feta Dip
There are so many ways you can serve whipped feta dip!
Veggies – I love serving this dip with an assortment of vegetables such as peppers, carrots, cucumbers, celery, and tomatoes.
Crackers – Any kind of cracker is good, but I especially love it with pita crackers.
Pita bread – Warm pita bread or naan for scooping up the dip is a must.
Meat or seafood – This is an excellent dip to serve with shrimp and salmon. I love pairing it with this baked salmon. Chicken is another great option to serve the dip with. I often use it as a dipping sauce for these Greek lemon chicken skewers or a dressing for this chicken souvlaki salad.
Sauce for rice bowls – You know I love a good rice bowl! Sometimes I like to swap the tzatziki sauce with this whipped feta dip when I make these chicken gyro bowls or Greek chicken meatball bowls.

Can Whipped Feta Dip Be Made Without a Food Processor?
Yes, however I find that the food processor is the easiest and gives you the creamiest consistency. If you don’t have a food processor an immersion stick blender or high speed blender work.
A stand mixer won’t work for this feta dip. It doesn’t have the powder to break down the feta and make it creamy.
