How to make potato spirals?
This crunchy alternative to sautéed fries and potatoes will surprise your guests. To make these playful skewers, you will need :
- Beautiful firm potatoes,
- Wooden skewers,
- a grater or mandolin type utensil,
- A drizzle of oil, salt, pepper and the spices of your choice (paprika, Provence herbs, curry, etc.).
Just plant the potato on the skewer, then turn it gently against the blade to create a regular spiral. Once the strips are cut, we spread them slightly, brush with oil, we season generously and bake. Bake in the oven for 20 to 25 minutes at 180 ° C (Th. 6).
To accompany these skewers, which can be served with a fresh salad, a few grilled vegetables or roasted meat, nothing like a Express House Sauce.
