But if you have already tested all these possibilities, it’s time to surprise your taste buds and those of your guests With an original recipe that fully highlights the delicate flavor of the zucchini. In August, our readers love spaghetti embellished with this vegetable.

Ingredients for 4 people

  • 600 g the count
  • 1 onion
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 500 g de spaghetti
  • 150 g thick cream
  • 100 g of parmesan

The procedure to reproduce this recipe for spaghetti to zucchini

Start by diving the spaghetti in a large saucepan of boiling salted water and let them cook until they are firm under the tooth, in other words “al dente”. Once cooking is reached, drain them carefully and put them aside for the rest of the preparation.

Then prepare the vegetables. To do this, remove the zucchini skin using a peeler, then reduce them to fine filaments thanks to a grater.
Also take care of the onion by getting rid of his skin and cutting it into thin strips.

Pour a drizzle of olive oil into a large skillet and gently sweat the onion until it becomes translucent.
Then add the grated zucchini, mix well, cover and simmer over low heat for ten minutes.

Meanwhile, in a bowl, combine the thick cream with the freshly grated parmesan in order to obtain a smooth sauce.
When the vegetables are ready, incorporate the drained pasta as well as this creamy preparation in the pan.

Stir carefully for two to three minutes to coat the spaghetti well, then adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper according to your tastes.
Serve immediately, hot.
