Fall is one of my favorite times of the year. I love snuggling up, getting cozy and eating some really good food with friends and family. For those of you who are new here, my name’s Emily and I’m a food writer and cookbook author (hey!!).

1. Marry Me Chicken Ramen
This is my Marry Me Chicken Ramen and you are going to want to give this a go because it’s the ultimate comfort food! It’s all cooked in one pan, so there’s minimal washing up, and it might just make someone want to marry you because it is so incredibly delicious.

This is my simple Boursin Pie and it’s so easy and delicious. It’s one of my favourite Boursin recipes because it’s made in one pan, so it’s the perfect dish if you’re tired of washing up. I love serving this dish for friends and family who appreciate a crispy pie with a creamy butterbean, tomato, mushroom, and Boursin filling.


3. Tomato Orzotto
This Tomato Orzotto recipe has to be one of the best tomato fall recipes I’ve made in a while. It’s all made in one pot using cherry tomatoes and sun-dried tomatoes. This tomato orzo pasta recipe takes less than 30 minutes to make and is perfect for a weeknight dinner or meal prep.


4. Roasted Red Pepper and Gouda Soup
This Roasted Red Pepper and Gouda Soup is such a comforting recipe that is so simple and absolutely delicious. All you need are red bell peppers, onions, garlic, tinned tomatoes, cream, gouda cheese, and a handful of seasonings to make this crowd-pleasing recipe!


5. French Onion Soup Chicken Casserole
This is my French Onion Soup Chicken Casserole and it’s perfect for when you’re craving something comforting and cosy. Having lived in France when I was younger, this is such a nostalgic dish for me. With a caramelised onion, white wine, and beef stock stew, we then add chicken and top with sliced baguette and gruyère. I really hope you enjoy it!

6. Ground Turkey Pasta
This Ground Turkey Pasta Dish is a simple weeknight fall dinner that is saucy, easy to make, and absolutely delicious. The sauce is made with cream, canned tomatoes, grated parmesan cheese and a few other pantry staples that totally elevate this pasta dish into one of my all time comforting favourites! 7. Chicken Pasta Alfredo with Broccoli
This Easy Chicken Pasta Alfredo with Broccoli requires 3 ingredients for the alfredo sauce along with fried chicken breast and finely chopped fresh broccoli. It’s such a simple recipe and a great choice for a quick weeknight dinner.


8. Creamy Chicken Orzo
This Creamy Chicken Orzo is made all in one pan and is great for a protein-based weeknight meal. It’s seasoned with oregano, lemon zest, and tomato paste, cooked in cream and chicken stock, and topped with mozzarella and grilled until golden and bubbling. SO good. I really hope you enjoy it!

This is my Deconstructed Ravioli Soup, and it is so good. I am obsessed with ravioli and love making it from scratch, but sometimes if I’m too tired or don’t have enough time, then this deconstructed version is perfect to satisfy my cravings. I think you’re going to love it.


10. Gnocchi Lasagne with Gochujang
This Spicy Gnocchi Lasagne with Gochujang is one of my new favourite comfort foods. I love gochujang recipes and trust me when I say that gochujang goes so well in a ragu. This gnocchi lasagna casserole is fuss-free, and a great one to impress friends and family!


11. One Pot Lasagne
Speaking of more classic lasagna’s, this one pot lasagne requires minimal washing up, low effort cooking, and results in a delicious simple dinner. I like to also call this: lasagna without the drama. To replace the béchamel sauce, we make a phenomenal mascarpone sauce that honestly rivals a classic béchamel. 12. Pea and Asparagus Pasta
It’s full of greens and so great when you fancy something fresh yet comforting. This fall pasta recipe comes together in less than 20 minutes, so it’s perfect for a weeknight dinner.


13. Lemon Boursin Pasta
This Lemon Boursin Pasta only uses a handful of ingredients that you’ll most likely have in your pantry, so it’s a great one to make when you just need a simple and quick dinner.

This is my easy Gorgonzola Pasta and it’s all made in one-pan, meaning minimal washing up and low-effort cooking! It’s super creamy without using any cream, and has a mild spicy flavour to it which pairs perfectly with the rich blue cheese. My boyfriend and I adore this recipe in autumn, so I really hope you enjoy it!


15. Old Fashioned Baked Mac and Cheese
This easy Old Fashioned Baked Macaroni and Cheese is comforting and hearty. It’s a classic recipe that’s simple to make using macaroni pasta, butter, flour, milk, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, and a few seasonings. Nothing is pre-grated or boxed, it’s all made from scratch! This Mac and cheese is a family favourite around the festive and winter season so give it a go and I hope you enjoy!

16. Kale and White Bean Sausage Soup
This Kale and White Bean Sausage Soup is a simple one pot dish to make and perfect on a cold day. All you need are some white beans, kale, Italian sausage, chicken broth, cream, a few seasonings, and aromatics, and you’ll be able to rustle up this comforting soup in less than 30 minutes.


17. Tofu Tomato Soup
If you’ve never dipped a spring onion cheese toastie into a Tofu Tomato Soup before, then this is your sign to try it. It’s absolutely delicious and really simple to make. The homemade tomato soup is topped with air fryer tofu bites that are crispy and delicious. Using soy sauce and sesame oil to flavour the soup, it’s so tasty and perfect for a weeknight dinner on a cold day.


18. Butter Bean Soup
This is my French onion Butter Bean Soup and it is hands down the best version of butter bean soup I’ve ever made. You’ve got caramelised sweet white onions with hints of garlic, thyme, and bay leaves, combined with the meaty butter beans. We’ve then topped the soup with baguette and grated cheese, and grilled until golden and bubbling. It’s made all in one pan…I really hope you enjoy it.


19. Spicy Beef Noodle Soup
I love a fall noodle soup recipe and this 15 Minute Spicy Beef Noodle Soup and is totally delicious. It’s super customisable, so make sure to use whatever you’ve got in your fridge. For this recipe, we’re topping our peanut beef broth with crispy beef, jammy eggs, coriander, and spring onions. SO good, I really hope you enjoy it!

This is my favourite Carrot Ginger Soup because it’s healthy, tasty, and fiery. We’re using carrots, sweet potato, ginger, garlic, coconut milk, and a handful of other ingredients to make this fantastic gut-loving soup. Vegan Fall Recipes
21. Creamy Vegan Mushroom Stroganoff
This is my simple Creamy Vegan Stroganoff using mushrooms as the base flavoured with thyme, wholegrain mustard, and handful of other ingredients. It’s the perfect fall vegan recipe with mashed potatoes, pasta, or bread, I think you’re going to love it!


22. Vegetable Thukpa (Tibetan Noodle Soup)
If you’re looking for an easy and vegan fall dinner, look no further! This Vegetable Thukpa (Tibetan Noodle Soup) is a delicious noodle soup that only takes 15 minutes to make. Make sure to use vegan noodles as apposed to egg noodles to ensure its totally vegan!


23. Sweet Potato Pasta Sauce
You only need 6 ingredients to make this sweet potato pasta sauce, and it comes together on one sheet pan. Simply combine baked sweet potatoes, tomatoes, garlic, shallots, paprika, and oregano in a blender to make the sauce. Then combine with your favourite pasta shape and you’ve got yourself an easy, simple, and delicious midweek meal.


24. Claypot Tofu
You don’t need a claypot to make this dish! Just use a saucepan! It’s such a comforting autumnal meal filled with veggies and gorgeous flavours.


25. Spicy Coconut Tofu
This Spicy Coconut Tofu is saucy and perfect served with sticky rice. Seasoned with ginger, garlic, and lime, it’s a zesty, fresh, and tasty vegan recipe that’s perfect for weeknights. I hope you enjoy it!


Fall Casserole Recipes
26. Cowboy Casserole
This is my take on a Cowboy Casserole and I know I’m biased, but it’s got to be one of the best recipes out there. Topped with tater tots (potato bites), cheese, and jalapeños, this ground beef, corn, and baked bean casserole recipe is a perfect midweek fall dinner option.


27. Nixon’s Chicken
This is the best recipe for Nixon’s Chicken Casserole. It’s a 70s American classic dishnamed after the US President Richard Nixon (1969-1974) that went viral after featuring in the TV series ‘The Watcher’. Nixon’s chicken casserole is a super simple 4 ingredient recipe that comes together in around 45 minutes and is comfort food at it’s finest.


28. Baked Chicken with Cream of Chicken Soup
This quick Cheesy Baked Chicken with Cream of Chicken Soup is one of my favourite fall casserole dishes. With the addition of broccoli florets, the chicken is seasoned with herbs and spices, then cooked in a cheesy, creamy sauce and topped with parsley. It’s great served with rice, mashed potato, or pasta. It all comes together in less than 45 minutes, all made in one pan, and is such a crowd-pleaser.


29. Baked Ziti with Ground Turkey
The creamy tomato sauce is better than any other sauce because it’s homemade and super simple to make. The sauce is combined with ground turkey, pasta (ziti), and then topped with cheddar cheese and mozzarella for a golden cheesy finish.


30. Chicken and Broccoli Pasta Casserole
This Creamy Chicken and Broccoli Pasta Bake is absolutely phenomenal. It’s comforting, cheesy, simple to make, and great for a low-effort dinner. Combining chicken and broccoli with a cheddar, mozzarella, paprika, and herby milky sauce with shell pasta and topping the bake with cheese, bacon and parsley results in the most delicious 45 minute recipe.


One Pot Fall Recipes
31. Goat Cheese Pasta
This Goat Cheese Pasta is creamy, made in one pot, and super delicious. It requires only a handful of ingredients including tomatoes, onion, garlic, vegetable stock, goat cheese, dill, and lemon zest for freshness. It’s one of my favourite one pan meals to make at the moment. I think you’re going to love it!


32. Easy Curry Pasta
This easy Curry Pasta is a one pot recipe that is minimal effort and super flavourful. I’ve kept this recipe simple with only the essential ingredients, but you can add any additional bits you’d like from chicken, peas, spinach, or bell pepper. Enjoy!

These Creamy Garlic Parmesan Noodles are made in one pot, so they require minimal effort and are absolutely delicious. This recipe is a fantastic option for a simple dinner that is totally customisable for those of you who want to add any garnishes or toppings. I really hope you love it!

Topped with goats cheese for extra flavour, this asparagus orzotto takes less than 20 minutes to make and is such a crowd-pleaser. Perfect for busy weeknight dinners or a feast with friends, it’s such a versatile dish to always have in your saved favourites!


35. Dumpling Tteokbokki Bake
Dumpling bakes have been super popular recently, and for good reason. They’re all made in one tray, really easy to make, and are so incredibly delicious. This recipe is my dumpling tteokbokki bake (spicy dumpling rice cake bake), inspired by Korean Tteokbokki. It’s spicy, silky, and perfect for an easy weeknight dinner in the fall.


36. Spicy Peanut Butter Noodles
These are my Spicy Peanut Butter Noodles topped with chicken, lime wedges, coriander (cilantro), chilli oil, and mangetouts (snow peas). Perfect for a weeknight speedy dinner, this ramen is super creamy, slurpy, and absolutely delicious.


Fall Dumpling Recipes
37. Beef Stew and Dumplings
I feel like everyone deserves to know how to make a really good Beef Stew and Dumplings so here’s the recipe I grew up eating, and I’m obviously biased but I do think it’s the best! It’s a really simple recipe and only takes 20 minutes to prep. You just have to be patient while the beef tenderises in the oven and the flavours develop.


38. Lemongrass Beef Dumplings
These are my Pan-Fried Lemongrass Beef Dumplings. They’re filled with a mixture of ground beef, lemongrass, fresh herbs, spices, and then are submerged in a spicy fish tangy sauce. The flavours are heavily inspired by Vietnamese ingredients, which makes the dish so fresh and comforting.


39. Pan-Fried Beef and Spinach Dumplings
These Pan-Fried Beef Spinach Dumplings with a whipped ricotta dip, harissa chilli oil drizzle, and chives are some of my favourite easy dumplings to make. They’re bursting with flavour and have a lovely crispy top that adds an addictive crunch.


40. Vietnamese Inspired Cabbage Rolls
I kind of regret making these Vietnamese-Inspired Cabbage Rolls because now I’m ADDICTED and want to eat them all the time! They’re absolutely delicious and simple to make, perfect for a cold autumn day!


41. Gochujang Pork Steamed Bun
If you’re looking for an addictively delicious, simple, and straightforward dumpling recipe, you’re going to love my fluffy Gochujang Pork Steamed Bun. The filling is made up of a spicy ground pork, scallions, gochujang, garlic, and a few more pantry staples. For the dough, you only need two ingredients! I hope you love it!

This has to be the ultimate centrepiece at a dinner party in the fall. It’s one of those dishes that will really impress your guests but is honestly so easy to make!!


43. Crispy Skirt Dumplings
These are the best Crispy Skirt Dumplings. They’re crunchy on the outside and full of flavour on the inside. The filling is a combination of chicken mince, chives, hoisin sauce, and garlic. Honestly, they are the juiciest dumplings I’ve ever made, I could eat these for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, every day.


Quick Fall Recipes
44. Sardines and Eggs
This recipe is so simple and comes together in less than 15 minutes. It’s all made in one pan, so there’s minimal washing up. I love serving this recipe with some toasted bread, ciabatta garlic bread, or my air fryer hash browns for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

This is the best Honey Ginger Chicken and it’s ready in just 20 minutes. The chicken is juicy and tender, and cooked in a soy sauce, honey, garlic, and ginger sauce. It’s super simple to make and is one of my go-to chicken recipes, especially during a busy week.

This is my easy Chinese Steamed Eggs recipe that will take you less than 20 minutes to make. It has to be one of the simplest yet satisfying meals you could make. Topped with sesame oil, soy sauce, chili oil, chives, and green onions, and served with sticky rice, I think you’re going to love it.

These Black Bean Tacos are cheesy, super flavourful, and come together in around 20 minutes. I’ve used black beans and kidney beans for the filling, along with a handful of delicious spices. This is my super simple butter bean and spinach curry that only uses a handful of spices and a few other ingredients. It takes less than 30 minutes to make and is a perfect speedy fall dinner!

This Marry Me Chicken Tortellini is one of my favourite quick and easy weeknight meals to make especially in Autumn. Taking the viral TikTok Marry Me Chicken dish and pairing it with one of the best store-bought filled pastas, tortellini, makes a super tasty and really simple meal that I absolutely love, and I think you will too! It’s creamy, super flavourful, and an absolute crowd-pleaser.


Fall Rice Recipes
50. Salmon and Mushroom Risotto
This Salmon and Mushroom Risotto has to be a household favourite. It’s bursting with flavour, simple to make, and only requires a handful of ingredients. Seasoned with paprika, herbs, and parmesan cheese, it’s a great one for a weeknight meal or for meal prep!


51. Stuffed Peppers with Ground Beef and Rice

This Bulgogi Fried Rice with beef and kimchi is phenomenal. It comes together in less than 30 minutes and is one of my favourite rice dishes to eat on repeat, especially on a cold day. The marinated beef is full of flavour and elevates this bulgogi-style Korean fried rice to a whole new level. Topped with a fried egg, spring onions, nori, and flavoured with gochujang to give it that spicy kick and red colour, it’s bound to become one of your go-to weeknight meals.
